Definitions:
Vice Minister: An individual whom a Minister delegates their powers to.
Registered Citizen: An individual with an active Citizen ID
SMP: The Server Main Page; the main subreddit of Teen Government (as of the writing of this amendment, r/TeenGovernment)
Citizen ID: The 6-digit numerical codes possessed by each and every registered citizen.
Article I: A Minister may nominate any consenting registered citizen to become a Vice Minister.
Article II: The nomination for Vice Minister must be made via a post on the SMP and the Minister making a nomination must state which powers and duties they wish to delegate to the Vice Minister. The candidate for the Vice Minister must comment that they consent to this under the post.
Article III: Once the candidate for Vice Minister has gotten the approval of the President and Prime Minister, they will become a Vice Minister.
Article IV: Once the individual has become Vice Minister, the Prime Minister must make a post on the SMP stating that the Vice Minister has been approved and the powers and duties which will be delegated. The Minister who nominated the individual, the President, and the Vice Minister must all comment that they consent to this.
Article V:
a. If their duties necessitate it, the Vice Ministers for the Press Minister may have Posts & Comments and Flairs mod permissions and ARPD admin status.
b. If their duties necessitate it, the Vice Ministers for the Documentation Minister may have ARPD and wiki admin status.
c. If their duties necessitate it, the Vice Ministers for the Economy Minister may have access to the Government Account on the ARPD.
Article VI: A Minister may have multiple Vice Ministers.
Article VII: A Vice Minister may be removed from their position if any of the following conditions have been met:
a. The Minister they work for decides to remove the Vice Minister.
b. The Prime Minister decides to remove the Vice Minister.
c. The Vice Minister resigns from their position.
d. A simple majority of non-abstaining Council members voting to impeach the Vice Minister.
e. A recall vote following the procedures established for the recall of ministers in Proposition 20260515-0, otherwise known as the Recall Unaccountable Officials Amendment.
Article VIII: No Minister will be required to have one or more Vice Ministers.
Article IX: The Vice Minister shall be paid 30 Tegovian Dollars (𝕋) per week.
