After so many talks, and months of discussing and abandoned ideas, finally we have a rough outline of the economy! As for what's been made so far:
A single T (tegov) is the currency, worth about a single US dollar!
There will be a set amount that every citizen is entitled to, just enough for necceceties.
Land can be bought, and is in fact very cheap, only a few T for an acre, apparently based off of the manifest destiny era of America!

The map is not done, but what exists now is being used as the base concept. A tectonic plate map has already been made based on it, and likely will be used as the base of the new rendition of the map, now more realistic!

We at Teenews have managed to get an exclusive interview with our new President, Bob!

What is your opinion on you now being the president?

Bob: I of course believe I will do well and will manage to govern effectively, and I understand personal reasons must be addressed and it is fully understandable for Som to step down to maintain personal life, and I wish them the best.

What are your current plans as president?

Bob: My current short term goal has been to get ministers set up, which has been going smoothly, and to work with Bari to get THE LAWBOOK done. I also intend to make more general reform and clarification amendments in a similar vein to my first one.

What is your opinion on the current state of the sub?

Bob: I think there are many things to like, we have our structures set up, we have many wonderful people, as well as a great community, I of course intend to continue to foster this community and work to improve our legal structures.

What is your opinion of the past state of the sub?

Bob: Depends on how far back, of course the mass bans were tragic and arc and due wrecked havoc, but I'm proud of the recovery we've managed to make in the past many weeks

Moving onto parties, what is your opinion of the Social Liberal party?

Bob: They are a party that has my respect, our beliefs are close and I hope to cooperate with their many great members!

What is your opinion of the USF party?

Bob: As the co-chair I of course think it is a great party, we have many wonderful people and as a socialist their beliefs align with mine (it's honestly like saying my beliefs align with mine)

What is your opinion of VIES?

Bob: I think they are a party with many great people, while I've never managed to get into their memes as I'm not a hazbin fan I am glad they enjoy them, I of course look forward to working with this party

What's your opinion of the Lion party?

Bob: While I disagree with them on many points particularly on economics, I find that on certain fields out(*side) of that I hold some agreement, I also find that many of their members are upstanding members of our community

And lastly, the TWP

Bob: They are a party with some people I respect, I know on some instances we hold agreement, though I can't say I'm an expert on them they are a respectable party

What is your opinion of the council, and it's current members?

Bob: I have found all of them reasonable and respectable people, we have many points of agreement and we've gotten along well so far

What is your opinion of the current selection of ministers?

Bob: I selected most of them, so while many have not been in long I trust they will provide good results! I also intend to create an executive group chat when I have the time

What is your opinion of the economy, and how it's coming along?

Bob: I am interested in the direction it's going, while I like the idea of it being on the reddit I also want to avoid any regionalism, I believe the map should be a vessel for the economy, not for serious politics in itself.

What do you see in the future of this subreddit?

Bob: While I like the idea of an map it should only be a vessel for the economy, not serious regionalism

Alright, one more question. Is there anything you want to say on the economy or map that you haven't already. And if so, what?

Bob: I think that for the most part while there should be design for basic functions, any actual policy should firmly be in the hands of the government, any outside force should exist to make the basics balanced, wages, prices, hiring, should all be determined by either the government or some form of the market, not an external designer

Thank you for tuning in to this edition of Teenews, see you again soon!
(And sorry we couldn't get that interview out yesterday, a lot of the economy was going on too)
