(Sorry if the formatting on this bill isn't ideal. I've never done one of these before) This bill establishes that: * At any time during a term, the person holding the government position of president (or another individual assigned by that person) may conduct an approval rating poll for themselves. * These polls must include, at minimum, three options: one that signifies approval, one that signifies disapproval, and one that signifies a neutral stance. * These polls may happen at any time during this person's term and the times they're conducted are up to personal preference as long as there are gaps of 2 weeks, specifically 14 days, at minimum between the closing date of each poll before another is conducted. * These polls must be left open for votes over a period of 3 days or 72 hours. * There are no legal punishments for failing or choosing against conducting an approval rating poll, however citizens reserve the right to hold their own polls regarding the approval rating of the president if they feel the need. * If a fair and unbaised approval rating poll determines the president's approval rating is below 30%, the council shall move to hold a vote on whether or not the president should face impeachment. * If a president is impeached and refuses to step down, they may face criminal punishment.

Couldn't they of just done an approval bill before?
Is this meant to just encourage it? If so, I like it, approval is massive for someone to do their job

OP
Yes this is made to officially declare that it can be done (and also to establish the rule that the council can take action against the president if a specific criteria isn't met).

But what if the president just doesn't do the poll at all lest they risk getting impeached?

OP
The citizens can conduct their own polls as long as they're fair

But then it just doesn't feel fair to use *any* poll as justification for impeachment. This bill feels a bit like a liability for CoG rather than an improvement, but that's just my opinion

I think council should also be able to do this, in case the president is doing a bad job. Only letting the president do it allows them to avoid being impeached more easily if they’re disliked

OP
Yeah honestly I feel like the council should be soley responsible for the polls. Idk if I need to edit my post or just make a new one though.
