I'm new here, I was just wondering how this all works exactly, and also what is the crisis people are talking about?

# Some info to start
* Elections are monthly.
* Anyone can propose bills.
* If you're banned for any reason (excluding site-wide rules) you have the right to a trial.
* [Join the discord](https://tg.zerr.cc/s/discords) ! It's not required but you'll be able to get assistance much easier there.
# What to do first?
1. Look around! Chat, don't feel like you have to propose a bill or run for government right away.
2. Join [a party](https://tg.zerr.cc/parties) , not sure who to join? Don't worry, it's perfectly fine to be independent.
3. Look at [what bills exist so far](https://tg.zerr.cc/bills) and [our history](https://teengovernment.miraheze.org/wiki/Main_Page)!
4. [Register for a voter code](https://tg.zerr.cc/s/voter-code) and [participate in the census](https://tg.zerr.cc/s/current-census), you'll need this to vote in elections.
5. Vote, propose bills, maybe even run for government!

About the crisis, it is complicated. There were protests about an act and the protests turned toxic and affected people greatly. I will not go into details but that's the gist.
The current attempt is to bring things back to "normal".

Thank you! Unfortunately most of those links aren't working but I looked around a bit and I think I get it now lol. As for the crisis, that sucks, hopefully things can return to normal soon\^\^
